Meet Alyssa.
Alyssa Suglio
Alyssa grew up in Orlando, Florida, and is a UCF alumni, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality & Event Management. Alyssa and her husband, Jordan, are high school sweethearts from Timber Creek High School and they were married in 2018. In 2021, they had their first daughter, Emry, and recently welcomed their second daughter, Taytum, in April 2023.
Alyssa grew up around swimsprout. Her mother nannied for many families who enrolled their children in the swimsprout program. Alyssa remembers being amazed at how an 8-month-old baby could learn such amazing life-saving skills, who would later be confidently swimming around the pool as a two-year-old. She knew then that when she had her own children, she would enroll them in swimsprout lessons.
In 2021, Alyssa registered Emry with swimsprout at 9 months old. As she sat on the edge of the pool watching her daughter learn the roll-back-to-float method, it overwhelmed her with pride and comfort. She posted a video on social media of her daughter’s test-out because she wanted others with small children to see the life-saving skills a 9-month-old was capable of learning. After that post, she had a lot of friends that were inspired and enrolled their children in swimsprout as well. Emry later attended swimsprout lessons, where she learned the swim-float-swim sequence. After watching Emry gain so much confidence in the water, Alyssa knew she wanted to become a swimsprout instructor. What a blessing it is to be able to help little ones and their families gain confidence in and around water. Alyssa knows, as a mother, how scary it feels to enroll children in swim lessons, but she guarantees you won’t have any regrets!
