Meet Patti.
Patti Reams
Patti Reams was born and raised in Orlando, but she and her family moved to Pace, Florida, in 2015. She is a graduate of Jacksonville University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. Patti has always had a passion of helping children in any way possible. In 2009, she married her husband and in 2010, they had their first child. In 2012, a second child completed their family. After teaching elementary education for 10 years, Patti was blessed to be able to become a stay-at-home mom and be there for her kids every step of the way.
In 2012, Patti and her husband enrolled their son in swimsprout lessons with Heidi Burnett. After the first two weeks, they were amazed at how much their son had learned and how Heidi worked her “magic.” Their son was almost 2 years old when he was first enrolled in swimsprout lessons and by the time he was 3, he was swimming all over every pool he went to. Patti didn’t hesitate to enroll her daughter in lessons with Heidi when she was only 13 months old. In 2013, Patti talked with Heidi about becoming a swimsprout instructor but with 2 kids under three years old, Patti knew it would be difficult to balance the home life she was building and starting a new career. Almost 10 years later, and after careful consideration, research and constant consultation with Heidi, Patti has decided it’s her time to help save lives!
Patti is excited and eager to bring swimsprout to Florida’s Panhandle region. With the surging population growth in the area, that just means more children in and around water. Patti wants to reach out to as many families in the area to get their children the necessary skills needed to remain safe around any body of water.
